Mum is not your kitchen maid - I'm not a funny kind of guy - easy kanji expressions from Hirugao ep.4 (I)

Today I will introduce you some expressions with easy kanji, but a big impact! Read out-loud with me! Expressions 一度出したものは結構よ! Ichido dashita mono ha kekkou yo! - Once I give something, I don't want it back. 私そろそろ帰らなきゃ! Watashi, soro soro kaeranakya! - I should be going now. お母さんは召使いじゃないだよ! O kaasan meshi tsukai ja nai dayo! - Mum is not your kitchen maid!  (literally:meal-preparer) Short dialogue A: 僕はこんな話しかできません。面白い男ではありません。 Boku ha konna hanashi shika dekimasen. Continuing with Hirugao! How was the first episode? Did you find all expressions covered in our previous posts? This week we are going to go through the second episode, so prepare your brains! After you learned the quotes, watch the second episode of Hirugao and catch'em all! Expressions 全然似てない! Zen-zen ni-tenai. - It doesn't resemble you at all. あいつは喧嘩売ってるだけなんだ、俺に。 Aitsu ha kenka utteru dake nanda, ore ni. - He just was picking the fight with me/ He was just provoking me. note: In colloquial language, especially in spoken Japanese,  particles and 'i' from 'iru' may be omitted. Let's bring the third part of the expressions from Hirugao ! We're still in the first episode, because it was simply great! More everyday life expressions from Hirugao! The first episode started with a big bang.. and a great dose of memorable quotes! じゃ。。行きますよ! 今日はついてるな ~ Kyou ha tsuiteru naa! - I'm lucky today!   けっこう意地悪なんですね!  Kekkou ijiwaru nan desu ne! * - You are pretty mean! Lesson for today is from a hilarious recent drama "Hirugao". I will post more expressions from the first episode soon. Don't worry if you don't know all grammatical structures. Try to understand their context and read the translation! Short expressions そんな冷たいこと言わないで!   sonna tsumetai koto iwanaide - Don't say such hurtful things./Don't be so cold hearted. あの、お怪我は大丈夫ですか?   ano.. o-kega ha daijoubu desuka? - Excuse me, but is how is your injury? Japanese lessons introduction

Before we start, I wanted to shortly introduce the purpose of the blog and the best way you can benefit from it. How it started I've been learning Japanese for four years now. But besides studying I enjoy watching Japanese TV shows. Until now, I couldn't find a page, where I could learn Japanese dialogues from dramas or movies written down (you know, with proper kanji and so on). With reading and translation, so I have decided to do it myself. That's why I have started this blog. All expressions I translate by myself, so if you have any suggetions, let me know in the comments. How to learn from dramas The best thing you can do to learn Japanese with this blog is to study expressions in each post, and later try to hear them during watching a drama. My method includes both reading and hearing out the sentences. I think your study will be more efficient that way. I will be including infomation about the episode's number only, so all the fun finding the expressio...
